Housing Crisis: ‘I’m 41, I won’t be able to buy in Luxembourg anymore, it’s over’

  1. Quite a lot in that article is, sadly, very relatable. And the person in the comments saying he made some sacrifices to save for a down payment. I’d hazard a guess and say people have differing levels when it comes to defining sacrifices.

  2. Unpopular opinion; not everyone can live in the city. Most big cities are like this and people need to commute to find affordable housing. I also can’t imagine spending 15000 on furniture after a break up.

  3. Has anyone heard of the saying she quotes here:

“ze räich fir ze stierwen, ze aarm fir ze liewen” / “too rich to die, too poor to live” ?

    First time I see it
