D’ya ever watch Fireman Sam and think, would it not be better for Pontypandy, a small village with incredibly high fire and rescue demands, to just let that little ginger kid Norman fall off the cliff the next time? For the greater good? Like he’s always setting something on fire, getting stuck down a well or on a cliff, the entire welfare housing and health budget is going to incessant fire engines and helicopter/boat rescues, his mother is guzzling antidepressants and xanax, dad long gone. The other kids have no education or future. The town is dying. For one kid. And he’s not medically impaired, he’s just a bad little shit.
I’m just saying, maybe Sam just couldn’t rescue him this time? There’d be a small investigation, a formality. The Fire Station captain would see Sam came out ok. A tragedy, but….
