I get it, it’s hard. It seems like I’m on the other side of this situation and I know how painful it is being away from people you love, and who love you. But at the end of the day the fact that you do remains true, distance does change it, you’re still family.
What helps is to stay in regular contact, video calls are a great way for me to do so.
I know the feeling. It’s rough, but they love you and I’m sure they are counting the minutes till they can see you again! Gotta look on the bright side of things.

I don’t want to be nitpicky, but from your other comment I understood you’re kinda ashamed of your Polish. And honestly you shouldn’t be. While there are some small mistakes, any polish speaker can understand this. And it’s very cute. I’m sure your grandpa will enjoy getting it
