Citizens invade PS headquarters with demand for more social justice

  1. Several dozen people entered the PS headquarters in Brussels on Monday. They demanded more social justice and only wanted to leave after a meeting with party president Paul Magnette. Similar actions took place at MR and Ecolo.

The activists have demands concerning energy prices, cost of living in general, the wage standard, and so on. Upon their arrival, they tried to reach the upper floors. When that failed, they did not push any more either. Meanwhile, the police are on the spot, but the situation is calm.

  2. Belgium has one of the biggest redistribution mechanisms of wealth in the world. Enough is enough. Taxes are already so high that lots of wealth is destroyed. Instead, a higher minimum wage and a higher tax free income should be put in place, so that everyone that works earns a decent wage.
