  1. The English truly were a restless bunch, we should give them that haha. That’s quite the dedication to go ahead with the coronation despite the tide of the war having turned and Charles VII having already been crowned King of France in Reims 2 years prior.

  2. Two hundred years before, a french king also became king of England for a few years.

    [Louis VIII](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_VIII_of_France#Pretender_to_the_English_throne) took advantage of the english rebellion against Jean sans Terre/john Lackland, invaded the british island and was proclaimed as king Louis I of England (but not crowned).
    He was later defeated by rebellious english barons who were in favor of Henry III after the death of Jean sans terre/John Lackland.

  3. I wouldnt what the world would look like if England had won the war. Better? Britain and France united against the world? If it stuck it probably would have been unstoppable.

    Would there have been no republic due to the absence of the French Royal family? Certainly and interesting alternative universe.
