All of our Tornado airframes are retired now. The US won’t let us give out F-35’s (not that we have enough anyway) and the same goes for the Eurofighter with all project states (U.K., Germany, Italy, Spain) having to agree to send.
Eurofighter isnt that much use for Ukraine at the moment anyway. Tornado’s might be useful, but we don’t have any active in our Inventory anymore and the airframes we retired were overstressed anyway. We had to retire many of them before the F-35 came in because they were well beyond their lifespan.
Nice, let’s get further involved in trying to start WW3 with Russia instead of finding a diplomatic compromise.
Apparently Boris said we should give them 100 Typhoons… okay and defend ourselves with what? We have a handful of F-35’s and some Tornadoes which are fantastic but somewhat past their prime.
What’s next the Army? Navy? Maybe we should just go full on and declare war already and get wiped off the face of the earth. Fucking stupid politicians.
