We should immediately mobilize all available resources and assist in any way possible.
We should go as far as recruiting volunteers to assist with debris clearance.

Hopefully this puts the animosity between our two nations aside once again, as we focus on helping out the people in time during these trying times. Wish the Turkish people all the best, and swift recuperation to the ones that are in the hospitals.
Thank the people not the governments.
It is really sad what happened. I really hope that the aftershocks stop and there are no more victims!
This was a very sad event. I really hope this was the end of it and there are no aftershocks.
I really wish all your loved ones are safe and the people missing are found safe and sound.
I can’t even begin to imagine the desperation of something like this happening in the middle of the night, in the heart of the winter, running outside with your family and nothing but your underwear and no place with a roof being safe to shelter in. It’s a nightmare.
I really hope you make the best of it.
I wish all the best to Türkiye, but this very prime minister who happens to belong to a looong family tradition of governing Greece, also does propaganda against Türkiye at every chance, through every medium at his disposal. I mean that soulless “people” do not feel sympathy about anything at all. A whole land (Evoia) was burnt a couple of summers ago, with people losing their properties and their lives, but sir Mitsotakis was all in over his head, wanting to rebuild the ex-Forrest area with large malls and giving nothing practical (insurance money, free housing for the victims etc.) but condolences on his social media.
Whatever our governments say and do, common people feel for your loss and the unfortunate dissaster. We are all sorry and sad for what happened.
I’m sorry i have so sad feelings about those ppl there unfortunately this will not stop here but will go on hope find strength to face all this disaster.
What happened at Turkey is absolutely horrific. Very glad our mostly useless PM is (allegedly) mobilising forces swiftly and hopefully other neighbouring nations will follow suit .
Thoughts with all the people and their families impacted by this disaster.
Vx
Greece should mobilize their own resources to prevent this from happening in their own country cause if an earthquake hits, their shit maintaned buildings are gonna fall like dominos. Such a bad designed city with old as fuck building that no one cares for.
Btw where are your friends Muslims to help? Your “enemies” are here for help.
I really don’t know what to say, thank you Greek people, I hope one day the animosity between our nations will come to an end. You helped us when even our so-called religious brothers, the Arabs, did not help us. Thanks from Turkiye. Really thanks. 🇹🇷🤍🇬🇷
Not the first time that we help each other when it comes to earthquakes and sadly probably not the last :/

I would call Mitsotakis a clown for this but… It’s kinda smart to do this
selamlar arkadaslar Allah bu zor durumu aşmak için güç ve cesaret versin.
All of that only for Mitsotakis and Erdogan to hate each other again in about 2 weeks from now
You guys have such a shared and wonderful history. The cradle of civilization! Be well to one another. Do not let religion and ethnic identity separate your peoples. Cling together and you might find a stronger synthesis and bond than you have ever imagined. I know Sumeria was the technical cradle of civilization, in regards to the Mediterranean, you get me.
Very glad we are sending help, But I can’t help but feel confused by the “bothsidism” that I am seeing online. Even here I see talk about “politicians and common people” or whatever
I feel like so many people are disconnected from reality. Greece has not been politically hostile towards Turkey in ages, today the political establishment takes a very composed approach to issues with Turkey, always uses neutral language, always references and calls for peace and diplomacy, there is only one side that beats its chest, and offers threats and hateful rhetoric.
Erdogan talks about bombing athens to ruins, Koulis here is talking of aide to a ruined city. And still we have people, even Greeks who are acting like this is some strange thing, some special event. No. This is how Greece is, a decent country that is striving for peace, diplomacy, dialogue and rapprochement, as its been trying to do for decades now
this is not a Christmas truce thing, this is how Greece is generally in regards to Turkey. And we really shouldn’t be feeding the both side narrative.
Thoughts and prayers
Pray for the for Turkey
Fucking erdogan won’t leave us alone though
Καλα ζωα είμαστε και εμείς. Που μας έχουν πριξει τα ουμπαλα. Και στέλνουμε και βοήθεια. Ζαβαδια
My condolences to Turkish people who suffer from the catastrophic earthquake.
Peace and prosperity Greece-Turkey
My sincere condolences for the unjust loss of so many people. Greece was of the first ones to offer assistance to Turkey, same as we did in the past, as we will do again in the future since, unfortunately, this earthquake activity will not be the last one.
Greece and Turkey need to work closely to be able to deal with natural disasters, as such, in an efficient manner.
Earthquakes in this part of the world are not a matter of “IF” they occur, rather a matter of “WHEN” they occur.
As a father myself, reading this morning about the baby that was retrieved from the ruins from its dead mother arms broke my heart.
Again, my sincere condolences.
Just too much thanks and good wishes to Greece and Greek people from Turkey. Thank you komşular(neighbors).

A good fucking decision.
