Italy has over one third of all european (including European Russia) biodiversity, it’s quite hard to have suitable habitats for all of them when all of them live in incredibly niche habitats to begin with, unlike poland where all their fauna is Boars, Wolves and Bears (and that’s it) with countless amounts of empty plains and forests to themselves.
As a Pole – It’s easy to cover almost every specie’s range, if you kill most of your wild animals outside of the protected areas.

Well done Poland!
Nice.
I heard European Bisons are making a return in numbers in Poland, magnificent creatures.
A good result for us. I hope that lobbyists coming from the hunting community won’t change anything. For example, they want to abolish protection for wolves by providing fake news about them. Moreover, some neighboring countries don’t protect wolves, and it caused trouble for Poland as well.
Finally, we are actually good at something! This is niceee
POLSKA GUROM
Turkey number ONE!
To be honest the whole of central Europe… Minus Austria…. Had 90% (plus or minus 1 percent).
Fairly good

Moose and Bison are coming back 👍
I just want to share the full story of me pooping in the basin in university bathroom: So, I went to this university building around 5:30 in the evening, and there is a bathroom area with probably 10-12 toilets all next to each other, so it’s quite easy to do this here since the risk of someone having to go to exactly the same toilet as I am in after I’ve finished is quite low unless there is hundreds of people around. I saw that there was a group of young new students (around ages 18-20), so it was perfect, the chance of one of them getting into the toilet is quite high. They were some 10 students. So I went into this one toilet after eating a lot the day before and then drinking tons of coffee before I went to the University and making me excited (I always get needy when I feel excited). And then I went out after listening if someone is outside the bathroom. It was silent so I went out, left the door wide open and went to sit a few tables away from the group of fresh students, and I looked so innocent, since I was cute and a diva and just sat there writing on some normal stuff. No one would ever believe it was me who pooped.
But I waited and waited and althoughs tens of people went to the toilets no one went into THIS bathroom, so I was feeling sad that no one might discover it today, and I don’t want to come to this university building early in the morning, so I would miss the reaction. But luckily the last person to ever go to these bathrooms the whole evening unbelievably went to EXACTLY this bathroom. He had just said bye to two girl friends who worked in his group. And a few seconds later when the girls were just about to exit the building the guy shouted to them “Hey! Hey! Excuse me? You have to come and see this… yeah.. You have to come. [giggles] Please!….”, and the girls respond “What is it?”, and he says “I mean you have to see this.. I think I’m gonna puke”. And then the girls see the shit and they just release a big sigh or something like “Huuuhh!!”.. They are shocked shitless. Absolutely flabbergasted. And they are all in shock, so much in shock they just laugh nervously and nervously jokes about it. They can’t believe their eyes.
I couldn’t video record this this time because they are renovating here so I a plastic curtain is in the way and around the renovation spot which blocks the view to the toilets from the area of tables and chairs where I and the students sat. But everything can be heard at least. I was almost getting caught since I also started to laugh a bit to their reaction. For me it funny part is the shock – that the definitely weren’t expecting that ever in their life. And they will tell all their group friends in the evening and the next day about this, everyone will be amazed and in disbelief – and this is funny to me. The uniamginable aftershock – which I can not see but I can fantasise about.
They left the building after this after a few minutes of talking about the situation, and just left it for the people of tomorrow to find it and sort it out. I was too lazy to get back here the next day 7 am, so I skipped it. But next time I will poop here earlier so I can see and hear all the reactions afterwards until all the shit is gone. Then I’ll film and take photos and you’ll get the whole reaction as well 🙂 Until then! But I’ll do other shit as well. And a few days ago I peed in the trash bag in the bathroom of a library, full of pee. This is what I often do – pee in the trash bags in different places. It’s quite fun.
Also, PS: I am no student and haven’t studied in 10 years.
I’m actually really surprised by the UK.
Portugal and Bulgaria should switch places.
I did not know we are protecting our biodiversity so good in Luxembourg, tbh we always complain that our nature is not protected enough and everything is getting destroyed
Not great, not terrible…
Also, what is going on in Turkey, UK, Bosnia and Switzerland?
Poland is so utterly magnificent regarding this

Our government decided for us that we don’t need nature in NL. Instead, we got 97 million chickens, 12 million pigs and 4 million cows compressed in factory-like stables, while producing a large chunk of the world’s floriculture supply in gas-heated and light-polluting glasshouses after 50+ years of agricultural lobby. 🌲🌳
Such a big difference between The Netherlands and its neighbors, why so?
