As someone that doesn’t know much of anything about Roger Waters, that was a very interesting article.
He does sound like a bit of a tool, but we’re all allowed to have our views.
It’s interesting to see that comments about his anti simetic views are balanced against an Israeli journalist saying that they arent (at least in one example).
The idea for his next album seems genuinely great, to open yourself up to opposing ideas. I’d be very keen to hear that when it comes to light. Remind us all that each side of an argument should be considered, and never dismissed without merit because it wasn’t from your preferred corner of the internet or publication. Something we should all remember…
Roger Waters was the least talented member of Pink Floyd. His obsession with the past is boring. His conspiracy theory world is boring. He became a boring old reactionary long before his time.
When did he last do anything original? All he does is complain and rake over the past because his present is empty.
He may be solely responsible for the songwriting. Maybe not. I don’t know. I wasn’t there. But he definitely doesn’t have to be such a dickhead about it.
