Since cycling is both and outside and beyond min distance activity (or you’d risk crashing into folks) I’d say nothing really changed for it other than perhaps complicating guarded parking
Adjusted for the overall decrease in our mobility, cycling actually increased. In the accompanying blog post to this video, there are some figures showing that our overall mobility in 2021 was 23% lower than in 2019, but cycling only decreased by 11% (while driving decreased by 22% and train usage by an alarming 52%). So, really, cycling is outperforming other modes of transportation when it comes to the mobility-decreasing effect of the pandemic.
