International Recognition of Palestine in Europe

  1. It is very sad that the west does not recognize the apartheid and the ethnic cleansing of the native palestinians by the colonizer israelis.

  2. Hey, Ireland is very pro Palestine. We definitely see a lot of ourselves in them and their situation. Fuck Israel.

  3. MBS wants to consolidate control of the Red Sea. Yemen on one side, Israel on the other. Netenyahu is terrified of Israel being eventually consumed by SA so he’s in turn trying to consolidate Israel’s over the region by genociding Palestine.

  4. I like how this sub is polite when critiquing terrible decisions by west European countries, while being like hyenas whenever some east European or Balkan country does bad stuff.

Keep the same energy our advanced western fellas.

  5. I can say for Germany, if you say anything against Israel, the media like Springer Press are like wild hounds driving you through the village calling you Nazi before you get a chance to explaining yourself.

And as soon you got that reputation, nobody will want to hear you, asking for your resignation and not hearing to logic at all.

That’s how deep the fear of German officials lies to be called Nazis again.

Not that it is a problem for the far right facists to get a party into our parliament, but that’s something else /s

  6. This map doesn’t really tell the full story. The Irish parliament voted that the Israeli settlements in Palestine are a [de facto annexation](https://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/republic-of-ireland/irish-parliament-declares-israeli-settlements-in-palestine-amount-to-annexation/40473975.html) and condemned the displacement of Palestinians. The Irish Senate (Seanad) [voted to recognise Palestine](https://www.aa.com.tr/en/politics/irish-senate-votes-for-recognition-of-palestine/108117) followed by our [Parliament](https://news.yahoo.com/irish-parliament-backs-recognition-palestinian-state-233252157.html).

The Irish Government broadly supports recognizing the state of Palestine, but is pushing to do it at an EU level rather than unilaterally as it will have much more impact and meaning at EU level.

  7. The Papal recognition is temporary no doubt:

Step 1) incite conflict in the region
Step 2) watch the locals tear each other apart
Step 3) Go on a crusade and conquer Jerusalem in the name of Christendom as it always was meant to be!
    Step 4) ??
    Step 5) DEUS VULT!

  8. +Entrevista de trabajo: cuáles son sus aptitudes?
