Where is this happening? I thought this would be a “shot to kill crime” in Switzerland. Not even “go to jail, straight to the firing squad”
Funny enough, that’s the St.Gall branch in the picture, and they indeed have a sign saying that they will start to close between 11 pm and 5am. They state it is because of littering and disturbance to the residence; this branch is right next to the train station and Ausgehmeile. So I’m not sure it has to do with attacks.

In Geneva most of them are closed past a certain hour of the day. Plan in advance if you have an early flight, learnt it the hard way.

Actually they aren’t supposedly doing it to protect the ATMs (as they are already insured anyway) but rather to protect the surroundings as the explosions often cause damage to nearby buildings and could even potentially harm someone
