  1. Was going to say r/wewantplates would like this but there already multiple examples of it over there.

So I guess just a dumb trend?

Edit: ah, it are even videos of the same TikTok account being posted

  2. Man it looks good but seriously i would eat 5 portions of that size. Atleast the plate ain’t that large so that the food would look even smaller. I do enjoy the cheese throw perfectly missing the middle of the plate. True art

  3. Tis maar ne carbonara. Hoe pretentieus kan je worden over een gerecht dat minder ingredienten heeft dan ik vingers aan mijn hand heb.

  4. Omg, I live abroad and had the exact same thing happening this weekend.
It was awkward to say the least…

  5. Dude doesn’t even get to choose how much Parmesan he wants. What if he only wanted half of that?

They’re just like: “here’s whatever fits on the bottom of that wine glass and didn’t fly in the waiter’s eye on the way from the kitchen to your table”

  6. Ohshit, this is the restaurant next to my parents in law’s house. It’s a small italian place run by a father and son. The son wanted to do more things with social media, I guess this is what came of that idea.

  7. My uncle used to have a very well reputated restaurant. He used to serve Sorbet on upside down wine glasses.

Yup, a big ass bowl of “ice cream” on the bottom of the upside down glass.

My aunt, who was working as a waitress, spilled them often (because… DUH!) and once, she made it fall on a client’s head.

There is worse, but those glasses always make me think of that detail, and i can’t stop picturing the chef going “hey, i got a great idea!”

  8. Rock music IN Spanish playing in an Italian restaurant that serves spaghetti in a wine glass!!!! THE FUTURE IS HERE! Mamma mia, hostía, joder, tío!!!!
