I just moved to a new flat, in every of the 4 rooms there are 2x rj45 sockets. I apparently can only have DSL connection so I ordered one from Telekom, the modem was delivered today but I found out the previous tenant took the TAE socket with him lol, he will return it but I wonder where do I connect it to?

OP, are you sure your TAE socket is supposed to be here? I dont see anything close to that but I could be absolutely wrong. Usually they are placed like this:

and installed by a telekom guy (hence I dont think they are freely moved around)
I might be wrong but that kinda looks like just a patch panel? You would need to provide you own modem/router and a switch to connect to all those plugs.
I don’t see where the phone line or coax cable would be plugged in that picture. Sorry.
The left seems like “ZL” = Zuleitung. Plug in a patch cable from there to the DSL Port of the router.
