Good. Turkey’s reasoning against letting Sweden in is so petty.
The fact that Turkey is hesitant to accept Sweden and Finland is mostly due to Turkish internal politics. In June there is general election in Turkey and Erdogan is probably just hoping to get some support by his current actions. I think it will be hard to make change his mind before June.

If Poland succeeds, let us all have a week of appreciation. During which everyone shall use only consonants to speak.
But Sweden is a haven of liberalism so much hated by Poland’s governing party.
This is a good reminder of the fact that the entire NATO greatly benefits from adding Sweden and Finland – and their military capabilities – as new members of the alliance.
None more so than the eastern flank nations bordering Russia.

This whole Turkey blocking Sweeden from joining really makes me question the competence of NATO when the whole NATO allience can’t bring Turkey into negotiation table for their lifes especially when NATO gains soo much if they join
Finland and Sweden join Nato -> a quick war declaration by Poland, Russian front is way too big to cover, Finland takes Petersburg in two weeks time ->in two months we are in Moscow /unNCD

Make no mistake, while we focus a lot on Ukrainie, Sweden’s and Finland’s membership in NATO is an absolute top priority for Poland, as it directly impacts the security architecture around the Baltic region, so I’m happy about this news. Hope we can convince Turkey to rethink its stance.
