[Newstalk] Taoiseach backs right to buy GAA tickets with cash Tags:ireland 6 comments Far right Leo Varadkar buying into far right conspiracy theories about cashless society. This is a dogwhistle to his supporters. Money launderin’ at the GAA. I’d be more than happy for them to go back to selling at the gates if they were to provide an actual ticket with a number that can be traced. Not a half of a raffle ticket. The amount of information I had to give to get a ticket to an inter county match is not right. I’m 27 and fairly tech savvy but it was a nightmare setting up accounts. I really feel bad for older people who live alone without a family who actually can’t go to GAA matches with the current set up it’s awful. Did ya hear the one about them illegally raffling houses? 🤣🤣 Simple answer is bring back the Van selling tickets outside the gate. Ticketmaster website used and the money traceable. Have it stop selling tickets about 20mins before throw in. Leave a ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
