Let’s organize a(n) (introvert-)friendly meet-up for all the nerds and geeks in Malta. Please post the following in the comment section below:
– location for ~10 people to meet up
– gender and age (m/f/d, <20, 20-24, 25-28, 29-32, 33-36, 37-40, <41, <50, <60)
– resident/tourist
Example: Kyoto Bakery in Sliema, m32, resident
After we find a suitable location we do a doodle to find a date.

Is this specifically for dating? Because I’d like a social get together (Though wouldn’t consider myself an introvert), but given the thread that spawned this and the language, it feels like it’s dating oriented which I’m not in the market for.

I’m up for this but as introverts i feel like we should be a small group and we should find somewhere close to everyone. I know some nice pubs in Valletta but some are a bit pricey.

Nighttime: Smokehouse has a nice location if it’s a lot of us, great drinks. The hatter.

My thoughts:
It’d be easier to break the ice if some sort of activity is involved, or a clear structure is included (for example introductions, topics of discourse etc.), though the latter may not be for everyone since some can see it as cringe etc which is fine. Its tricky to please everyone since some may not be interested in alcohol etc so it’s all a balancing act.
From experience these things generally tend to work out well when a common cause is outlined, and since introversion doesn’t really characterize well into the domain of personality as a sole indicator, people will vary wildly.
Given the feedback and response here I imagine there would be a fair interest in joining a Discord server. I’d be more than happy to get one setup, just message me OP or whoever and we’ll discuss.
Anyway, maybe I’m just complicating things tbh.
– Down for whatever. I’d imagine brief introductions and hike or something of the sort may work out for everyone.

I’m 28M and a good location I think is Salumeria in St Julian’s, it’s central, the area is huge (we can book multiple tables) and they have good food and cocktails.
