What’s a climate denial group? Are these people who deny that, say, the Arctic has a different climate to the Mediterranean? If so, someone should take them on a holiday to the Arctic. They’d probably already done a Med holiday or ten.
I guess when he’ll fall ill doctors should have his illness in denial and see how quick he will be to change his view
Climate change is absolutely real. It gets colder and warmer it’s almost as though the earth works in cycles. The exact same group telling us we’re going to die due to climate change are the ones saying Global cooling was going to kill us all… then global warming….. now it’s climate change.
I don’t know what happened to the polar bears but I can only imagine they’re all dead just like the experts predicted years ago and the UK is completely under water from the ice caps that melted in 2012.
But those stupid deniers and their conspiracy theories about the whole thing being a scam to give more control to the governments is all wrong. Just like that crackpot theory about an EU directive that stated that martial law will be in place to protect the environment as people will be locked in their homes. That can’t be real as the EU has since deleted it from their website…….
Also stop complaining about the tax increases! It’s just to save the world it’s got nothing to do with giving money to the government!

Because there is no such thing as a “climate denialist group”. The term is misinformation. No group deny a climate. It is defamatory because it implies Tony Abbott is some raving loony. Likewise it is hateful for the same reason.

A good man for the job, his record on climate change while PM was atrocious and can still be felt in Australia to this day. He will be a great asset to this group and a danger to the rest of us. Climate change is happening now and we are still pretending like we have time to change our lifestyles so everything gets kicked into the long grass for another government and another generation to deal with. We have just had the warmest year on record, yet this thread is still full of people who think climate change is overblown nonsense. Abbott will fit in with the UK rather nicely.

What do they get out of being in the GWPF? Do they believe in what they say or is it more sinister, I’m wondering if they are trying to protect investments/investors in high carbon polluters?
No expert but Cargo ships are the biggest polluters, they use the lowest grade of fuel from the bottom of the distillation process, pumping out upto 7000 times more sulphur per litre than your diesel car, I did notice a newer one was now powered by natural gas, which will be better, hydrogen would be better still, produced by renewables being left on when battery storage is full. Solar/wind are stopped when battery storage is full, see it all over the world, stationary wind turbines, virtually free power not being collected.
