I’ve been doing this for years now. It’s awesome when the lights turn green while you’re approaching at a slow speed, as you can just keep going! It’s especially satisfying when it means you overtake the asshole that’s waiting in front of the lights after having overtaken you (which (s)he did by violating the speed limit).
Aside: is there a French language term equivalent to the Dutch “uitbollen”? I couldn’t find one.
