Covid Certs to be reissued only to people who have received booster vaccine

  1. Not even gonna fathom the idea of getting it. If participation in society is dependant on an injection from a private pharmaceutical company, adios

  2. I’m probably going to move to another country before then. I’ve had my booster but I am beyond done with this bullshit.

I don’t want to be a slave to the vaccine for the rest of my life just so I can have basic rights.

  3. Well would you look at that. Would you fucking look at that.

Social access dependent on injections every 3 months. Have fun people.

    So much for “temporary”

  4. Told you it would be us next. The government can change the definition of “fully vaccinated ” at any time and cut off certain demographics from public spaces. The Health Minister has carte blanche to make laws without debate.

But at least we’re safe from the dreaded Omicron eh?

  5. I think this is the place to ask this, I’m planning on getting my booster next week from gp. But how does the covid digital cert know that I’ve been boosted? Isn’t it only the hse one that controls that?
I.e. how can I add the booster to the covid cert?

  6. In Italy you need one to run a business. In Germany you’ll need one to stay out of prison or avoid huge fines. Latvian TDs aren’t allowed to vote in parliament (or remotely) as elected officials without one… But I’m sure we’ll be fine. Sure it’s not like anyone died for our democracy or anything

  7. What if other EU countries don’t require this?

This would mean hypothetically a double vaccinated Spanish person would have a valid cert and get into a bar, and an Irish person with 2 vaccines would not.

  8. A year from now, 6th jab rollout:

“Bloody anti-vaxxer’s with only 5 jabs! Good thing we bar them from hospitality/workspaces/public-transport/stepping-outside-their-home.”
