Honestly the justice system is a joke in this country
Even the police don’t trust the police to take rape accusations seriously
How many more creatures like him have the met protected up to now? Or are still actively protecting? There’s clearly a massive rot in the organisation.
The met needs to be completely broken down and reformed
As a Cop these stories coming out is concerning and upsetting as they don’t represent the Police I’m surprised there mainly PCs and PSs
If people realised how little power these people have with in the Police and how easy it is to sack them people would be asking what more senior officers with real power are doing, that’s what I wonder with all of this.
It’s more shocking as we’re meant to be catching the bad guys and not the bad guys.
A lot of these offences are very difficult to prove beyond all reasonable doubt normally now just think about the extra work The Cops need to do to successfully prosecute someone who knows the legal system and Police Procedure.
These issues reflect my biggest concerns in society, we need to find better ways of investigating these offences whilst keeping everything fair as sex offences are often one word against another.
Domestic Violence we get pushed for evidence led prosecutions however the Cps will often drop thing even when there’s overwhelming evidence that collaborates or Something more obviously like cctv, in my force there’s a massive push on this.
Whilst these corrupt cops quite rightly need targeting I find it appalling that society doesn’t give a shit about the wider issues, the trauma I take home from work feeling let down by a system which prevents me putting bad people in prison.
Lots of people on a raping spree these days. It’s all falling apart.
