I’m wondering what I could use to sell some used electronics.

I know from the past that [2dehands.be](https://2dehands.be) is not very good or reliable. I’m thinking ebay, but then they take a margin.

Any advice?

  1. Why would 2dehands be not good? I use it often, no problem. Sure people tend to haggle, but you just ignore those who make ridiculously low offers.

  2. Either you do 2deHands or Facebook Market and you get contacted by scammers you can avoid, or you go to Cash Converters and you get scammed on the price.

  3. You can fetch a higher price on used electronics on ebay. The margin is 5% (a few years ago) and you’d better have PayPal too for the DE/NL market. These things fetch market prices on eBay whereas on 2dehands, it will only sell when the right person looks at it.

  4. I guess you could also post what you have on the slowchat to see if anyone is interested. As you’re a regular, I think it’ll be okay.

  5. I want to buy your used electronics OP.
A delivery man will pick up the goods at your home upon which we will fulfill a legit electronic transaction.

  6. Be very aware of scammers, but they are pretty obvious. If they mention couriers, abort mission.

  7. ebay takes about 20-25% in fees (including PayPal).

eBay in Belgium is pretty much dead, nobody uses it. Unless you have valuable, desired or rare items that international people are willing to pay high shipping costs for, don’t use it.

Source: sold a large collection of vintage video games couple of years back. Most of it went to other european countries, a couple overseas and only a handful tot people in Belgium.

  8. 2dehands is quite good actually. fb marketplace sometimes. Depends really what you want to sell

    Forget ebay
