King’s Guard shouts at London tourist for touching his horse

  1. Wouldn’t surprise me if this starts a new TikTok trend where the goal is to get shouted at by the King’s Guard

  2. Wait, wait, wait…….are we really going this level of stupid….

I can understand doing it once as a….dumbass mistake…..

But even AFTER he warns her…..she then goes and does it a SECOND time.

Has this person never had consequences for her actions or something? What absolute rude audacity you must have to do this. A complete lack of respect and consideration.

  3. Is this even news? ‘Get off the fence’ and ‘Get off the reins’ has been shouted at clueless tourists for decades.

  4. No, he does not shout at her for touching the horse. He shouts at her for touching the _reins_. There’s a difference.

Touching the horse is tolerated, to a point. You can rest your hand on its shoulder, or nose, or other points forwards of the saddle. But the reins are a different matter. The reins can be used to take control of the horse. You might be intending to try and pull the horse away, or loosen a buckle somewhere.

The horse is fine to touch. The reins are not. And, quite obviously, you don’t touch the rider himself.

  5. There are countless examples of stupid idiots trying their luck with the King’s Guards and yet another one.

  6. The amount of people on TT who think the beefeaters at the tower are “ characters “ like Disney is ridiculous.

  7. This is absolutely ridiculous how many people don’t understand this despite the many signs saying dont touch the guards

  8. I thought this was going to be the same tourist as a post the other day but it’s someone different. Why are so many people doing this suddenly?

  9. It’s a horse. Touching a horse is not illegal. I remember some idiog punchin a horse. Toughing a horse isn’t or at least should not be a crime. Verbally assaulting a woman is a crime.
