I haven’t received any parcel by An Post in 7 years.
Any parcel I have delivery with them it’s just saying it’s out of delivery, the same minute they “tried to deliver and no one was at home” and same minute parcel is ready for me to collect it at An Post depot. <3
Clearly you’ve fucked up the address.
You can be the problem or you can complain loudly about it, but you cant be the problem AND complain loudly about it.
Happened to me once. Amazon system placed my address at a wrong geolocation. Had to manually assign the location on map on the Amazon account. Fixed it. The chat service was helpful and they helped me sort this out.
this happened to me before christmas. it’s probably lost and they’re not telling you. you can sometimes contact the seller and ask them to raise a dispute as they’re the ones who paid the courier on your behalf
I’ve literally seen the postie writing a shit load of “sorry we missed you” notices before getting into his van for his rounds
Happened to me once. Received the package 3 or 4 weeks later.
I like to imagine that you’ve ordered something really weird and every day someone else in the depot is hearing about it so they ring the delivery driver and tell them not to deliver it so that they can all look at it when it gets back at the end of the day and its just going to keep happening until everyone there has got a chance to see it
