The UK can not leave the European Convention on Human Rights without breaking the Good Friday Agreement, which in turn would collapse the Withdrawal Agreement and the Trade and Cooperation Agreement. It would be a political, economic and diplomatic disaster.
This country is going to be absolutely fucked by the next election, it would take generations to undo the damage they’ve already done and they’ve still got years where they can do whatever the hell they want.

Exit the ECHR, then the Good Friday Agreement is essentially rendered null and void. I can’t believe even the Tory Scum will be willing to reignite that hot potato.
There are literally only two countries in Europe not in the ECHR which are Russia and Belarus is that honestly the example the Tories want to follow.

They can’t withdraw from the ECHR unless they’re also going to abandon a whole _slew_ of international agreements including the TCA.
