Reminds me of Eastern Europe maybe 10-15 years ago. Though I’d be willing to bet that Finland had much less pollution than EE has even now (aside from cars).
Just in case anyone needs to hear it: ~40 years ago.

This is great, i love these “slice of ordinary life” photographs from bygone eras… Now i can’t help but be surprised by how different the Finnish 1980s look and feel, compared to the 1980s I lived, in Northern Italy. Excellent job OP!
