I doubt the accuracy of these numbers. The way physical activity impacts health is so complex and the health issues related to this have other causes like poor diet, insuficient sleep, alcohol, stress…
This would make more sense per capita.
45% of europe you say, this sounds like a survey been done among 200 redditors
What is this graph
This is a great example for why data is useless (or misleading) if not applied in the correct manner.
The large European countries are on the top of the list, as obviously with large populations, they have the biggest spending. The data should have been shown as cost per capita, not the absolute spending. These numbers give no value or understanding, when applied in a comparative manner.
Thats why health insurance fee should be dependent on health-habits of the individual.
Very interesting topic.
Not per Capita =useless=downvote
Very surprised about the Netherlands as they seem to be one of the more fitter nations due to cycling culture
Sweden is mostly old farts who think they can’t die. Seen it so many times.
I live in c… 🙂
Bessa ois de deitschn!!
This is a population diagram of europe. /r/dataisugly material
I too like to book holidays in c…
TIL Germany, Italy and France are big countries 🤯
If this is gonna be a thing, i want a discount. I have diabetes which i didn’t ask for and makes me wanna die, yet i work enough that i get more than 150 minutes a day for 5 out of 7 weekdays. I gotta pay more for pretty much any kind of insurance because i have a disease i didn’t ask for nor deserve as i’ve been skinny my entire life, so because i get my physical exercise i should at least get the difference back. At least. Some benefits wouldn’t hurt on account of governments not forcing pharmaceutical companies to release cures they already have but don’t release because treating will earn them more than curing. This last thing doesn’t just count for diabetics, but it would only apply to me because of my stupid fucking diabetes.
