Complete and utter waste of time for all involved. Thankfully none were given convictions.
All drugs should be legalized.
They were all given the option to avoid convictions by contributing to the poor box.
So why not avoid the middleman, stop wasting the courts time, and just tax the fucking things?
I always thought dairy farmers were up at 4/5am? Is 6am not a late start for them?
The drug laws in this country, and most countries, are a complete mess.
All of the talk of decriminalisation worries me as well because all I see it as is increasing the market for the Kinahans or whoever the next set of scumbags are who take their place. It doesn’t improve the safety of the drugs or actually help anyone, as clearly no one is being convicted for possession, it just gets rid of the only remaining deterrent to use them.
I’ve lived in 2 smallish rural towns in recent years and the town centres are full of drug addicts. We need to either fully legalise all drugs or go full on Saudi Arabia to eradicate them because the in between is clearly not working.
