That system is our employment though. What she tried to do was alter the economy of a developed country to mimick the economy of developing country. If she had been successful this would have had drastic effects on working conditions and pay. She was expecting workers to quietly accept a plunge in lifestyle and increase in working hours, without asking us if we were willing to shoulder that burden. While she might have considered herself “elected” she wasn’t put into power by the vote of the majority of the country and she didn’t have the right to make sweeping changes to working conditions for 80% of its population.
I’m almost suprised she didn’t go whole hog and dog whistle Corbyn.
