get a proper RO system and never turn back. Tastes better than any tap water that I drank when living in Netherlands or UK.
Why don’t you invest in a RO? It very convenient, water tastes good and the water waste can be reused.
Have a friend with the tap filter you mention (not Brita), we have RO. When I taste the filter water the difference is nominal to me.
Just so you know an ro (snowpad) costs about 399 and it tastes much better than tap water
Go get RO it tastes better than Kristal that’s my suggestion. No more plastic crap and most probably after 2 or maybe 3 years it’s a return on investment. So far I had it for 9 months and I used to buy nearly 25euro worth of water per month. So far so good but prepare to service it every 6 months for 60 euro. Last remark buy at least 4 glass bottles for summer so you can cool in the fridge.
For those suggesting RO systems, what are the running costs (filters, maintenance, etc..)?
RO just doesn’t make economic sense for single person household though. I was going to get a Brita (I’m a Londoner and loads of people use them there). I also hate the BCRS tax so need to move away from bottled. I’ve considered getting a big 50 ltre delivery every few months but dunno.
I used it for 6months.
Found it fine to drink.
Just have to buy new filter now
