  1. but it is also him:
So long as the state exists there is no freedom. When there is freedom, there will be no state.
Vladimir Lenin, The State and Revolution, 5

but when he came to power:
One man with a gun can control 100 without one.

Truth is the most precious thing. That’s why we should ration it.

Free speech is a bourgeois prejudice.

There are no morals in politics; there is only expedience. A scoundrel may be of use to us just because he is a scoundrel.

  2. little did Vova knew that he was inadvertently inspecting his future resting place in a fucking mausoleum like an egyptian pharaoh

  3. This is actually what killed Lenin – The habit of going out in public like this led to an unsuccessful assasination attempt that he never really recovered from

  4. Awesome colorization.

An interesting thing of note, the troops they are inspecting are obviously a militia, being so differently dressed, this **is** a citizen army.

  5. I wonder how many of those were alive in the 1940s. Stalin annihilated the old guard, as in the real real sense of the word. Stalin did not “clickbaity” his actions

  6. From right to left:

    1)Abraham Belenky

    2) Ephraim Sklyansky

    3) Józef Unszlicht

    4) Sergei Uralov (Kislyakov)

    Behind them:

    5) Nikolai Ostrovsky

    6) (don’t remember his name) Melnikov

    7) Vladimir Lenin (Ulyanov)

    8) Rozovsky

    9) Karlis Dunc

    10) Pavel Kobelev

    11) Voldemars Bumanis

    12) Fricis Cirulis

P.S. if you need I can add for some of them dates of birth and death, ethnicity and “job title” =)

  7. why where no meteor or comet falling in the times of need. not a fun fact but where is not a lot of lenin’s images so soviets used to stage re-enactment photoshots, had a lenin doubles for portrets and so one.

  8. It really baffles me that so many Western marxists still openly worship this mass murderer.

The only reason why he “only” killed a few million people (Russians, Kazakhs, Tatars, etc.), and not 20 million like Stalin did, is because he died early.

  9. those were the days.. a bold headed syphilitic idiot definitely knew how a society must live
