I’m one of them. I’m also guilty of not living within my means though, so that’s a me problem.
Leo disputes this
The 2 that have money are probably TDs
At the end of the month?
More like three days after payday when all the rent and bills go out of my account!
Don’t let Leo see this!

Is there any optimism here that this will get better?
I’m surprised it’s that few. Would’ve thought it is higher.
Already have no money
*”Have you not seen our GDP though this can’t be true”*
Why can’t I have 3 money and no kids?
Some of us have no money full stop.
Sister recently came home from Midwest usa on holiday, and couldn’t get over the amount of people out shopping mid week in shopping centres and out in pubs restaurants etc, said compared to usa looks like a lot have disposable income, granted it was a quick visit but it put some outside prospective on it. Now I know usa most are online shopping etc but mid week the malls and main streets in town are dead.
Peter & Paul won’t be happy about this..I’m robbing both
Are the Rte.ie writers reading Reddit now as well?
there’s too many deadly gigs in dublin. it’s a killer.
I wonder at what kind of income levels the 3 out of 5 are and if these folks are likely living beyond their means?
Anyone on here using a household budget or what apps are you using to track all of your expenses?
The other two are the their landlords.
Sure dicktits varadkar will just deny the fact as ‘seems false’
No sh*t Sherlock, this situation has been visible from miles away to not see it coming. And when you discuss it with friends/colleagues in advance… that this would happen, they call you being too negative.
Don’t think I’ve ever ended a month without going into my overdraft.
Could be because a lot of rentals cost more than a mortgage but maybe I’m just imagining things.
Its me im 3 in 5
Edit: whoops stumbled in from r/all hehe, not actually Irish but things aint so different in Canada rn either. Literally living on a $700 a month EIA cheque cuz my night seizure havin’ ass cant get a job in town on account of being unable to drive :/ hoping to find something online at least
End of the week more like. Why are we not out protesting like the French?
maxed out the credit card and overdraft to pay the gas and electricity bills this month, Now going though the coin jar to see if I can eat today, but no clue what to do until next month’s paycheck.
“3 in 5 have no money left at the end of the month”. The 2 that have money get paid 25th
The only question left to the economy is, how to leave the other two broke?
