Tbh it looks kinda like overkill, that hit didn’t even shatter the window
The mass differences- I’m guessing they felt it but it but no one went flying (on the train that is) ?
It turned out he overreacted but better that than injured passengers.
Week ago or more a train hit a Bull- Białystok-Suwałki, took the train out of action tottaly and destroyed the whole front. month or so ago they hit a moose, mf derailed the train. UTK still doesn’t belive moose could derail it, saw a video and it was wild man. So you never know what will make the train fly off, truck couldn’t do it but moose did.
However he got no choice 😅
As a licenced train drive, I have to ask. Why didn’t he start emergency-braking? Sure, no chance to stop before hit, but every km/h down helps…

I spent half a minute wondering why the presenter said “a lorry that was STOOK on a rail crossing”
