Malta basically has no standards , it’s a free for all in every direction. Small builders or large just cut corners at every opportunity. There’s no culture of customer service. The leadership shows no standards in public behaviour and that is the model for everyone else . You could say the leadership reflects the population as a whole and maybe that’s true. Sad thing is , nothing is going to change anytime soon, there’s just no will for it anywhere that matters. The Maltese don’t even see it as corrupt , just normal.

Join an NGO and start voicing your concerns. Protest etc.. this is the only way shit changes especially when we have an inexistent opposition.
Periti and other warranted professionals need to start being held accountable. They are all eager to charge percentage fees and other astronomical prices for work of questionable quality.
However, they need to be equally ready to stand up when they make mistakes.
