A great initiative in my view, not only will this provide a natural storm water management system but it also has the added benefit of increasing the greenery in the areas which will be aesthetically pleasing, added trees and greenery can improve air quality, reduce urban heat islands and I’d imagine a non concrete or asphalt surface requires less maintenance
