I would like to know what type/manufacturer of buses used in cities in Germany, today. I’m curious which companies manufactures the buses and what models are used. I’m not sure if there is a list, but if one for whole of Germany is not available, at least one for NRW would be nice to find. All my googling attmepts are swamped with ticket offers, line information, and articles about new E-Buses. Wikipedia’s list of buses shows [this](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAN_18.2×0) to be the newest model, but the article says it’s used mostly outside of Germany.

Mercedes, Man, Volvo come to mind. But the bus you linked looks quite old.
Solaris is very popular.
Check the regional transportation associations (bvg, mvg etc)
