Of course it’s Birmingham. I’m sure these brave (totally covered to protect themselves) boys took time out of protesting outside local schools to yell their abuse.
There’s an activist talking about the negative effects which are caused when people like MPs or media figures like JK Rowling spread hatred towards marginalised groups and then we see those negative effects playing out and interrupting the video.
The people who are trying to turn basic human rights into a political issue so that they can find a marginalised community to be the next victim of their culture wars should feel ashamed of what they’ve done.
You’d think more media would be jumping at the chance to talk about this. They *love* peddling outrage, and what can spur more outrage than abuse being hurled at people mourning a murdered teenager?
Aren’t the media proud of what they’ve helped accomplish here? They’ve been trying so hard to make this sort of thing happen. Preen a little.
Sadly doesn’t shock me
I went to the Newcastle vigil on Saturday and was at the back, got to hear some of the colourful comments of the handful of passers-by. None of them interrupted the vigil at least and probably thought they were out of earshot when they said what they did, but its rather depressing that people see pride flags and immediately take an antagonistic stance, and that its is far more normal than many would like to think.
What a bunch of utter cunts. Got nothing better to do then act hard but they’d shit themselves in an actual fight

Wouldn’t be at all surprised to hear they’re good pals with [Shakeel Afsar and his community](https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-news/volatile-protester-confronted-head-teacher-17084909).
The video in this article is sadly ironic.
