  1. Translating would be: everyone wants to **** somehow

    Eveyone

    wants

    somehow

    not to

(i don’t see that one word)

    not to

    somehow

    wants

    everyone

  2. I don’t even know what it’s supposed to mean and I’m polish, maybe the missing word is key.

  3. Everyone

    wants

    something

    no

    no

    something

    wants

    eeveryone

  4. Okay so this one is actually clever and i see a lot are struggling to translate. The missing word in the middle is ‘żyć’ which means live.

    So the (grammatically correct) interpretation of this is;

Not Everyone wants to live in some way, everyone wants to live in some way.

If you translate it word for word it makes very little sense, as it’s a play on words which translates poorly.

  5. “Everyone wants somehow…” but it’s like a broken sentence, no idea what it is supposed to mean. Reminds me about SaSa LeLe and other types of “clever” word compositions.

  6. i think it means tha everyone wants to live their one way and not the way other wats you to live

  7. the missing word is ‘żyć’ i think, not sure tho

  8. Każdy chce jakoś nie żyć – I understand it like that: everyone of us don’t want to live in a specific way, for example someone don’t want to be alone, live with parents, etc.
Żyć nie jakoś chce każdy – for me this means that, we want to live in a way which is not simply, ordinary, commonly. For example, everyone wnats to be rich, famous, etc.

  9. As a native Polish speaker I come to the conclusion that this bullshit means absolutely nothing, thank you for your attention

  10. I got the meaning right on the spot, when I saw this. But I’m not good at polish, and rather read in Ukrainian.

  11. There was a whole article or news piece in the lodz newspaper, pretty sure you can find it online there. Didn’t bother reading it tho sorry

  12. in my opinion
każdy chce jakoś nie żyć – everyone kinda doesn’t want to live,
but żyć nie jakoś chce każdy – everyone kinda wants to live.
in conclusion – everyone wants to unalive themselves because life is shitty and we have our ups and downs, but no one truly wants to die and leave this planet forever.

  13. Ah, there is missing word “to live”

    So this means..

Everyone wants somehow to not live, Not everyone wants to live somehow

This means everyone wants to be dead in meritorical way, but not everyone wants to somehow be alive. In the way I understand this, people wants to be dead than existence (job, sleep, job, sleep, boring routine, no happiness in live, every day is same to previous day, feels like you wasting your time etc)

  14. “Everyone wants to live … to live everyone wants”

Also the text’s font size is aiming for a shape of an hourglass, so it’s safe to assume it tries to remind viewers of how their time is ticking and everyone wants to make the best out of what’s left.

  15. I think it was supposed to say “każdy chce a jakoś nie każdy może”

  16. I think it’s just a street art or something like that because the words doesn’t even make sense to me

  17. Really nice idea to decorate this place with some neons
    … but realization is awful

  18. this sign has r/CrappyDesign written all over it

  19. It’s pseudoart. Pretty common in bigger cities. Belongs on r/im14andthisisdeep

  20. Don’t worry about it. Polish is my first language and I still don’t gt it

  21. Everyone wants something, at least

    Everyone doesn’t want down’n’dirty

  22. Każdy chce jakoś [żyć], [co] nie?!

    Nie [byle]jakoś chce każdy!

  23. It is some poser pseudo-intellectual crap quote that you can see on tumblr on instagram posted by basic bitch

  24. Quality of live above living a life as it is. I think this is the message from this mural.

  25. It’s a pun that translates poorly into English and doesn’t really lend itself readily to translation. So, without going into too much detail in terms of semantics, here’s the meaning behind it:

    No-one wants a mediocre life.Everyone wants a non-mediocre (decent) life.

I think it’s a witty play on words in Polish, but I can also see why some people might frown upon it. Each to their own! And yeah, the crucial word is missing as the neon sign representing it is broken.
