How does the scam work?
Everytime when I try to sell something. I always check the profile of buyer. In many cases this are hacked accounts. You see that profile picture was recently changed or you see that the buyer is from another country.
I’m always reporting them, but then I’m receiving message, that FB haven’t found anything suspicious and account stays. It’s frustrating.

The sad part is it works! Everyday countless peoples are falling for this.

Jeez… Oldest and cheapest scam out there. It’s amazing it works… Someone needs to be really gullible to fall for it
Had this happen to me on anibis.ch. The person had set up a very convincing fake post.ch web page. I was schocked how well made and realistic it looked.
Maybe try Ricardo or Zaster. On all the other platforms you have to deal with a lot of communication overhead and scammers.
