The Carmelite church in Balluta Bay, I believe, has a clock tower that not only tells the time with the bells but also plays two very beautiful chimes – one in the morning around 07:45, never repeated and another chime repeated throughout the day for each new hour.
EDIT: The one I said doesn’t get repeated, I’ve heard it around 07:45 and 8:45 so it does get repeated.
Does anyone know what these songs are? Are there any recordings out there?
EDIT2: Uploaded recordings of both chimes.

I had the same question some time ago. One of the chimes, in the Netherlands, is the melody of an old Dutch “Sinterklaas” song. I forgot which one – I think it was “Zie de maan schijnt door de bomen”. The melody for this song was written in 1843 by Joannes Josephus Viotta.
If it isn’t this one, ask a Dutch person which famous Christmas/Sinterklaas melody of a traditional song they recognize in the chime.
sorry to burst your bubble but they are not bells but speakers

Joking aside, could you maybe take a recording?
