I need a verdict in the recent Deutsche umwelthilfe v. KBA case. I looked at some German websites who publish these but I couldn’t find it. They have announced the verdict only a few days ago. Wait some more weeks until they complete it in writing.

At the time a verdict is accounced, only the “Tenor” is written. That is the “this court has decided the following things” part at the top of any written verdict, usually printed in bold.
A verdict itself is very long. It has a description of the legal history of the case, a summary of the uncontested facts and a summary of the views of each side about the contested facts…..before we even get to the resoning of the court, where they describe what they see as the facts, why they see the facts like that and a detailed legal analysis that supports their decision. Even with uncomplicated cases, that can easyly take up 6+ pages. In solething as high-profile as the Abgasskandal, that is likely ripe with much technical analysis that needs to be taken into consideration, it will likely be a lot more.
To write such a verdict can take weeks. You will have to wait.
