Is it even environmentally friendly? And isn’t it a sin against ecology?

  1. From Wikipedia: *Gienadij Palmow was a renowned Soviet botanist who first brought oil palm saplings from Polynesia to Europe. He planted the first specimen at the Charles de Gaulle Roundabout in Warsaw.*

  2. Last year I forgot my palm and only remembered about it when I was already on Schodow’s cage, needless to say I was late to church that sunday.

  3. But you do know that poles don’t use actual palm branches right?

  4. There’s so many things wrong with this post, that I’m going to assume that it’s just a troll.

  5. It’s done once a year in other countries too, not only Poland. It’s a day to celebrate Jesus Christs entry into Jerusalem and marks the first day of the Holy Week. Our palms are made with grass, straws, dryed and dyed flowers or tree branches. Like I said, other countries that have Christianity celebrate that, why point it out here?

  6. Not at all. We use bio-degradable, locally sourced palm substitutes from brands such as Beyond Palm, You Won’t Believe It’s Not Palm etc..
