I just saw this Food Theory video in which they show map of north America and Europe apparently Portugal is not europe

8. It clearly is, fattest growing part. Kids speak English, have great relations with most of Northern Europe and they have sunlight in winter.

16. So Russia, Azerbaijan and Switzerland are part of the ‘EU’ but Portugal isn’t?

17. Maybe it’s some future scenario? Russia collapses and what is left of it joins EU together with Switzerland and Norway while Portugal left to rebuild its colonial empire.
