Today I went to the airport to drop off a friend and on the way back home, I took the wrong exit in direction to Brussels Evere.
While driving I realised I f*cked up, because my vehicle is and old Diesel, but I couldn’t turn back.
After driving a bit I saw the “low-emissions zone plate”.
I passed it as you can see on the third image and used the roundabout to get back to the highway (my path is in blue and the plate is the red cross).
On the site it says that the roundabout is part of the Lez zone and that I will be fined €350.
Can someone please help me find a solution as I can’t pay the €350 now.
Well, I mean, contest the fine – if there’s even one – saying it was an honest mistake and you turned away immediately ; and you have this reddit post as proof of your good faith.
From what I remember the camera is down the road close to decathlon, you should be ok.
