It’s a travesty we’re only currently aiming for 148 Challenger 2s to be upgraded to the C3 spec. The fact it’s also essentially an update rather than something completely new at this point is also again mad. It’s also mad we’ve spaffed billions on Ajax instead of just buying the tried and tested and well liked CV90s and more Boxers and Boxers with the Brimstone weapons module recently announced.
Because lots of them are going to be upgraded to Challenger 3.
They can’t be in service and in a factory being upgraded at the same time.
