Wasn’t even proper winter in whole of Finland yet. It’s sad and shocking.
I enjoyed so much today when the sun was shining in to my apartment through south facing windows. For a few hours the indoor temperature reached +27°C and it was really warm. For a moment I completely ignored the fact that winter exists. My plants loved it too.

It’s only -4 where I am in Helsinki right now. This is actually my preferred winter weather, yesterday was so lovely with the sunshine.
It’s supposed to be warmer next week! Personally I am not looking forward to it, as the snow is nicer than slush. ❄️

Actually, I’ve been sad it hasn’t got reaaaal cold. I’m in Jyväskylä and I think that’s the coldest it has been this winter (-17).
Man i wish we had winters that warm where i grew up, that town always had -30°c every winter and the house had no proper insulstion… Better get used to it

I have noticed how cold weather actually feels warmer long as its not windy.
Cold air tends to be dry, which makes it worse heat conductor. I was sweating on my way to work by foot yesterday.
While when it was warmer but lil windy, I felt like I was freezing.
Very cold air tends to pinch for a while before you go numb. Cool air constantly freezes you.
To be frank, I consider that a perfect weather. Rather dry and fresh.
No bad weather. Only bad clothes.

It was – 28 yesterday and i gotta walk kilometer to school
Need to become colder so the ticks in the snow dies and it prevents their spreading.
Its the coldest month of the year, mid winter.
My car will still start without using the block heater at that temperature.
