It really is hilarious that people running schools somehow don’t know enough about business to comprehend that a constant need to be at work outside of working hours is a sign of mismanagement.
I guarantee the last few candidates all burned out, and whichever arrogant, incompetent idiot is doing the hiring is becoming increasingly desperate to push the narrative that they were just “bad candidates” and there’s nothing wrong with their management of the post.
If you need human beings to function like robots for your so-called “management style” to be effective, then your management style is garbage, and if you were given robots you’d just let them break down then complain they didn’t “try hard enough” to remain functional.
>My opinion – it doesn’t offend me … better to see this pre applying than be disappointed after.”
that is soo close to the chewbacca defence. conflating the stupidity of whats being requested with their stockholms afflicted feefees.
This school is fucking bizzaire. I recall when it was being created the following was true (at the time)
– students would sit with teachers during lunch hours
– students are not allowed to bring their own packed lunch, other than fruit and water
– going to local shops on the way to or home from school would result in a detention (just bizzaire really)
– school days ran from 8:30-5pm, making the no packed lunch policy even worse
If they get sacked though, they could always take half the school with them, or are they signing a pren-up?
Just lie and say ‘sure, yeah, uh-huh, no problem.’ Then do the least possible when you start.
These overly aggressive ridiculous job adverts really piss me off
Being Sheffield surely ‘welded’ is more appropriate?
Toxic American work culture continues to seep into the UK.
