Kind of makes sense, it was to slow down omicron getting in maybe at least until Christmas. But now it is spreading in wild there is no point. It may have bought us a little time maybe a week.
Presumably testing for both vaccinated and unvaccinated then ? Or are unvaccinated required to hotel quarantine on return ? or just banned from flying ?
