Good initiative I think, I’d like to see it tackle the details for ‘carbon neutral’, since so much of that is basically just buying car or offsets; which are, in theory, good.
I just feel like carbon offsets are an entire industry just waiting for a massive scandal because it’s just pure profit if they are unscrupulous…
Are they really offsetting carbon at the rate they say? Let’s see the evidence
Does that include the government and its plans for net zero? It loves to claim biomass is a renewable, even when the government’s own carbon calculator disproves this. I am all for punishing greenwashing, however it is difficult to take this seriously from a government that loves to indulge in the practice itself.
