Sernik z rosą? I coul have some of that cake. What is the second dish?
i need this🥹
One fucking tip:
1.Go to bakery ask about warm and crispy bread
2. Make butter with a lot of garlic salt and black pepper
3. Eat
4. Thank good for this taste.
Enjoy Poland bro 🙂
I wouldn’t say that lasagna is a showcase for local food, but I don’t remember eating a bad lasanga ever. Never had one outside of Poland though.
Yes
I mean its mostly carbs with side carbs so of course its good haha
Yes it is indeed. One thing that I regret the most about my life is that I didn’t find out sooner about polish food, as unfortunately it’s not something common in Portugal, where I’m from. We have a lot of Russian/Ukrainian food, but no polish unfortunately, which is a H-U-G-E mistake. Glad I’m here now to enjoy every bit of it every single day (and no better place than bar mleczny).
If you like the damn food, you should try the freakin’ beer
I read this as food in Poland is nasty but the picture looked good to me so I was trying to figure out what was wrong. I was about to throw hands lol
Poland – the homeland of lasagna. The realm where pizza was born and people fell in love with fascism so much, they followed Hitler into World War 2.
It really is. We eat a lot of herring where I’m from, but god damn the Polish salted herring is absolutely amazing. Bigos and onion/cheese pierogi was also great.
I also had the best damned kebab roll/wrap I’ve ever had in Mokotów. A bit surprising, but man it was so good.
This is a average cake desert in Poland.
Polish version of apple pie is the best I’ve ever had. More like cake than pie but I’d eat it every day.
yeah, but have you heard about our lord and saviour, pierogi?
Sernik is a blessing from the God
Imagine if it was Joe Biden posting it. 😂😅
Food to try:
1) ‘schabowy’ (schnitzel or pork chop I think) with young potatoes and ‘mizeria’ (cucumber in cream salad)
2) ‘flaki’ (love it or hate it, there is no in between)
3) fresh, warm, crispy bread and butter as mentioned earlier
4) ‘bigos’ (sauerkraut cooked with beef and boletus mushrooms)
Idk if you had it yet but try to find makrel paste. Yes its legit meat of a fish turned into paste like avocados -> guacamole. Since i moves to germany ive never seen it again like it was lost to time
So is this what they meant when they sang “z ziemi włoskiej do Polski”? Lasagna?
